中国南方航空股份(01055)发布公告，2024年5月，集团客运运力投入(按可利用座公里计)同比上升11.64%，其中国内同比下降2.58%，地区和国际分别同比上升41.83%和106.88%;旅客周转量(按收入客公里计)同比上升23.21%，其中国内、地区和国际分别同比上升9.04%、43.39%和116.81%;客座率为83.06%，同比上升7.80个百分点，其中国内、地区和国际分别同比上升8.96、0.82和3.68个百分点。
货运方面，2024年5月货运运力投入(按可利用吨公里—货邮运计)同比上升10.96%;货邮周转量(按收入吨公里—货邮运计)同比上升21.52%;货邮载运率为53.83%，同比上升4.68个百分点。
2024年5月，集团引进4架飞机(包含1架B787-9飞机、1架ARJ21飞机、1架A321NEO飞机和1架A320NEO飞机)，退出5架飞机(包含1架E190飞机、1架A320飞机、1架B737-800飞机和2架B737-700飞机)。截至2024年5月底，集团合计运营910架运输飞机。
