当地时间7月13日，美国执法官员表示，前总统特朗普集会枪击事件被定性为“暗杀未遂”，已作为刺杀案调查处理。
据多名执法部门的消息人士称，枪手当时在集会场地外的一栋建筑物上，执法人员初步认为其为狙击手。
据央视记者消息，宾夕法尼亚州巴特勒县地方检察官理查德·戈尔丁格表示，在该州特朗普的集会上发生枪击事件后，枪手和至少一名观众死亡。据悉，枪手是被特勤局击毙。
