消息面上，香香港消委会官网发布澄清声明。声明中提到，经过与农夫山泉代表的会面和深入交流，了解到相关产品属于饮用天然水类别。该公司产品遵循的是生产地即内地的《食品安全国家标准包装饮用水》（GB19298-2014）。因此，香港消委会将该产品样本重新分类为“饮用天然水”，并对其评分进行了调整，从4.5星提升至5星。香港消委会就此次测试因样本归类出现落差而引起的误会，表示抱歉。
农夫山泉则表示，香港消费者委员会今日发布的《消委会就「农夫山泉」测试样本结果的澄清》已收悉。测试结果充分显示农夫山泉产品全面符合相关标准，可以安全饮用。 农夫山泉将继续为香港市场提供安全、优质的产品和服务。
