8月14日，央行发布《2020年人民币国际化报告》，2019年人民币国际化再上新台阶。据最新统计数据，人民币在主要国际支付货币中排第5位，市场份额为1.76%。
报告显示，2019年人民币跨境使用逆势快速增长，全年银行代客人民币跨境收付金额合计19.67万亿元，同比增长24.1%，在2018年高速增长的基础上继续保持快速增长，收付金额创历史新高。
